INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO A ONE (1) YEAR RENEWAL CONTRACT

WITH STATE ELECTRONICS COMPANY, INC.

FOR MAINTENANCE OF TWO-WAY RADIOS AND FIXED EQUIPMENT

RESOLUTION #03-76

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Sheriff's Office has engaged the services of State Electronics Company, Inc. since 1992 for maintenance and repair of two-way radios and fixed equipment; and

WHEREAS, a contract has been drafted between the Ingham County Sheriff's Office and State Electronics Company, Inc. and approved as to form by the County attorney for the time period of January 1, 2003 through December 31, 2003; and

WHEREAS, funds for this Agreement are available within the Ingham County Sheriff's Office 2003 operational budget.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners approves entering into a renewal Maintenance Agreement for Two-Way Radios and Fixed Equipment for the time period of January 1, 2003 through December 31, 2003 with State Electronics Company, Inc. for the amount of $31,344 plus any labor on equipment not listed under the agreement, which will be repaired at a time and material rate for technical labor of $80 per hour.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Board Chairperson and the County Clerk to sign any necessary contract documents that are consistent with this resolution and approved as to form by the County Attorney.
